ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION

D/A Central is looking for talented Account Executives to join our amazing team. Your primary role will involve new business acquisition as well as account management for existing customers. D/A Central develops customized physical security solutions for mid, large and enterprise sized accounts, with global reach when necessary.

Access control, video surveillance, intrusion systems are in high demand, and the industry is growing at a 12% rate YoY.

You will be responsible for the entire sales process including generating and following up on sales leads, meeting with potential clients, conducting a needs assessment, quoting/bidding security systems to meet those needs, negotiating terms, closing sales opportunities, and ensuring profitable growth of the company in an enthusiastic and timely manner.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Develop relationships with key decision makers.
  • Communicate with vendors and clients to build relationships, define the project scope and customer intent via meetings and site visits, address any deficiencies, and negotiate pricing.
  • Stay up to date with current technology trends in access control, video surveillance, intrusion systems and emerging security technology.
  • Present a professional image to vendors, manufacturers, distribution, and clients.
  • Attend workshops, industry trade shows and online training to stay up to date on current market trends.
  • Work with Director of Sales, project managers and estimating/engineering team to provide accurate bills of materials and cost estimates for upcoming jobs.
  • Develop and successfully present proposals that withstand critical examination and bring value to clients.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of sales or relevant experience in security industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to problem solve and identify customer needs.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships, work well in a team environment while also having the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to train & grow in the department.
  • Ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Ability to provide an accurate forecast.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to train & grow in the department.
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams).
  • Valid driver’s license with vehicle in good repair.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
